i got a car today.

i was supposed to get a lexus but the guy who was selling it has been farting around for almost two weeks now trying not to sell the dang thing.

we met up with him awhile back to test drive the car and we made an offer for it. he was still driving it at the time, though. he didn't have a new car yet. so he said he would give us a call when he was ready to get rid of it. he called last wednesday and asked us if we wanted him to get the a/c fixed. he promised the car would be ready for us last monday, so we said okay. then he called us monday and said his buddy who was gonna fix it never got around to it. so we told him we just wanted the car. it didn't matter about the air conditioner. so he said he would be here yesterday at 11 and he never showed up. so...yeah...he never really wanted to sell his car. it was so cool, though.

now i've got a '96 toyota tercel. it's a big step down from a lexus. but, i like it well enough.

My parents got in a motorcycle accident last night. They're both in the hospital right now. I don't know when they're going to be able to come home. Dad broke his leg and three ribs and damaged his liver. He has to stay in the ICU for awhile because of his liver and the ribs. They need to keep an eye on him. They're going to operate on his leg on Tuesday. Mom broke her wrist and her heel. They're going to operate on her wrist soon, but they need to decide what to do about her foot. Neither of them will be able to use crutches, so I don't know how they're going to get around the house. I'm going to have to stay home for awhile. They're going to need me.

I'm thanking God so much right now. It could have been so much worse. I'd really appreciate it if you'd pray for their recovery. Thank you.
